"Il Visium" is a private weekend, one-of-a-kind experience set in the Italian mountains.

You come to the source: the maker, the materials, the process. Over the course of your time here, your hat is designed around you; your story, your proportions, your character and made by hand in front of you. Between the shaping and the silence, there are ceremonies, outdoor pursuits, long meals and the kind of stillness that is increasingly hard to find.

You leave with something that has never existed before. Neither has the version of you that chose it.

This is not a workshop. Not a retreat. It is harder to name than either - and the hat is only part of what you take home.

Included in Il Visium:

• Cost - €1350
• Private hat design session with the maker
• Full hat making process witnessed from raw material to finished piece
• Your completed one-of-a-kind handcrafted Tahatan hat
• Accommodation at the maker's mountain home
• All meals throughout the weekend
• Guided outdoor activities - hiking, fly fishing, swimming and mountain pursuits

• Access to nature, mountain air, and unhurried time

Flights, car hire, and travel to Italy are at your own cost.
Activities such as paragliding, wakeboarding, SUP or e-biking can be arranged on request, also at your cost.

Duration - one weekend, Friday to Sunday.
Available May through September.
For a solo traveller or a couple - one hat is made either way, and the cost is the same.
Bookings require a minimum of one month's notice.
